Today I learned how to use the riding lawn mower. I have always hesitated to get on it because it jerks your back. But I am so much better with my back that it did not bother me at all.
I drove the mower around the yard and even mowed a little grass. I need lots of practice but I have time to practice before Guyk has his surgery. The mower was noisy, dusty and smelled awful bad. Exhaust fumes, I guess.
It was fantastic to learn something new and it was a lot of fun. I have put off learning all the while knowing it would be stupid to have that big mower in the yard, Guyk not able to use it and I would not know how.
It was a beautiful day. The weather was perfect, not to hot or to cold. Guyk finished mowing the yard and I did the weed eating. It was a good day.

I can remember the first time I got on a riding mower (my BIL had loaned it to us) and he taught me how to operate it. Hubby was not happy about it, but he got over it once I did the mowing while he was at work....haha
We have to be good help mates.
P.S. Wear ear plugs and protect your hearing while using noisey machines.
Mowing on a riding lawn mower can almost be fun. Sure beats a push mower.
