Tattoo's

I saw on fox news this AM that a woman was very unhappy because she had gone to a lazar person to have her tattoo on her back removed. It was rather large in the middle of her back. Well now she has a large ugly scar instead of a tattoo.

My question is why the hell did she get the tattoo in the first place? She knew it was permanent when she got it. But now she wants to get married to this guy and her tattoo does not fit in with her wedding gown and all these high class people.

This should be a wake up call to all the young people who are currently getting tattoos left and right.

And that is exactly the reason I have never gotten one.

When I worked in a welfare office I had a young girl and her boyfriend come in for an interview. He was an aspiring tattoo artist. She was letting him practice all over her. The tattoos were of terrible quality. I wonder what she thinks of his artwork now. If she is still alive and that is a big if.

Even when I was younger, they had the 'temporary' tattos. I loved them. I could move them to new places, try new designs. Why more kids interested in tattos haven't tried that is beyond me... particularly since they are more realistic now.

Rocky, I never got one either.

JDP, I have seen that kind of thing also when I worked for the State.

VW Bug, that is the wisest approach.

I've always thought of them as trashy. Now I have my daughter thinking it also. I hope it stays with her.

I know some tattoo junkies. To me it looks awful. Invariably at age 40 these people regret getting all that ink in their free wheeling 20s.

I eat lunch at Subway almost every work day. There is a nice little girl there, very cute who I always say hello to. Yesterday she had a big old safety pin stuck through her eyebrow and it really detracted from her appearance. She asked me how it looked and I told her "different" because I didn't want to hurt her feelings, but it really looked like crap.
