Tired Puppy this afternoon

This morning I did my treadmill and upper body exercises and this afternoon I did my weed eating. So I am a tired puppy.

Guyk's brother's wife had a heart attack. They put 3 stints in her heart. She is a very small women, very thin, but her blood pressure stays high. And she refuses to quit smoking. They are 9 years younger than us. She has a real hard time doing what the doctor says for her to do. We wish her the best.

Guyk is having a time with his diet. He lost so much weight. Then we went on vacation. His family insisted that he eat. All those old women cooked and were mad if you did not eat. So of course everything was great and tasted so good, so he ate.

Not me. I refused to eat all that stuff. I get started eating all those foods that I should not eat and then all I want to eat is all that sweet stuff. I love cakes and pies and cookies.

But if I am not careful, I will be diabetic too.

First off, condolences to Guy's sister, I hope she has a positive outcome. Thank you for the visit to my site. The daughter's boss is 47, has arrhythmia, went in for shock treatment last Friday, it worked until Monday when his heart went back into arrhythmia, I reckon the next step is a pacemaker. You are doing all the right things to prevent Diabetes, I hope and pray you are never visited by this scourge. Have a great weekend.

He seems like he's doing all right if he can get into a size 38 pair of pants. I have to wear 42 size.

wow. my thoughts are with your sister in law. Good Grief. It is hard to watch people that can't change their lifestyle, knowing it may kill them.

I hope Guys' sis is okay...

I've been diabetic for almost 20 years and Hubs was just diagnosed diabetic last winter. He eats way worse than I do, but he's doing much better. Men. You're doing it the right way... keep up the good work!

Best wishes to Guy's sister after such an event.

I know how the diet thing goes. I had dropped 12 pounds in July. We spent a weekend at my in-laws, where my FIL insists that you eat... over and over. I came back and had gained the 12 back, plus a bonus 8 more.

And the smoking... Don't get me started on that. That's on the list for me. For my wife... I dunno.

Good for you, Sweetthing. Nobody should be pressured into eating bad food just because they are on a holiday. But, this is a very hard thing to resist because of courtesy issues.
