Little Sister to vet tomorrow

We took Little Sister to the vet today. They are going to spay her tomorrow. She is due to come into heat soon. I don't want to deal with the heat thing. Messy. Plus sometimes there are dogs running loose and we don't have a fence. I sure don't want a male dog hanging around.

She doesn't have to spend the night. We take her in at 8am and suppose to have her back home by 6pm. The worst part will be when she finds out she can't have any breakfast.

They are going to put a microchip in her while she is out too. The family camps on military bases want your pet with a microchip.

It will be a long day for me but will be glad when I get her back home.

Thanks.

Oh, they're our babies, aren't they. I take mine in Friday to get his "pink" stitches removed.

She'll come home all woozy and soon realize she needs to take it a bit easy, till she feels better. Mz Sazzy might could use the rest from her shenannigans anyway. *Grinz*

Dang I love animals!

Poor Li'l Sis. She'll be so cute with that cone on around her face. Our girly had a microchip put in during her spay too. It's great peace of mind, especially since you'll be traveling with her.

I know it's so much better to have them spayed, but I just hate the whole process. Our girl, Molly(spoiled rotten border collie) HAD to go get done after her first heat because it was horrendous! She had to stay overnight so we sent Stumpy with her. That was her stuffed koala bear who lost his leg to her teething, hence the name Stumpy. Hubby and I were up half the night, went to fetch her as soon as the vet's opened. It was worse for us than her, I think, but at least she'll never have puppies.

Poor thing, but she'll be back to normal in a couple days and feisty as ever :)

The worst part of it is this morning I am not able to explain to her why she can't have her breakfast. I hope she gets to sleep most of the day. I'm glad she doesn't have to stay overnight. Thanks for coming by. You will be in Helen for the blog meet, right? Hope so.

Yes, Chevy Rose, she is my baby. That picture on your blog of living room area did not look like a cottege to me. The cottege must be your summer home.

Yes, Imp, Ms Sassie could use the rest but she will miss Little Sister. If for no other reason than the fact that you miss a pain when it is gone!

Yes, caltechgirl, it will be a relief to have ID on her. If she got loose for me, I could not catch her. She runs like a bat out of hell. Thanks for stopping by.

Rocky I am so glad so does not have to spend then night. I can stay busy during the day and make the day pass faster, but I would worry about her if she had to stay so long.

I hate that I can't explain why she can't have breakfast.

Stumpy is such a cute name for a toy.

Thanks for stopping by.

Hammer, I know she back to her same self soon. I keep telling her that but I doubt she understands me.

Did you go by Guyk's blog. He put a link on there to his new game of terrorist and hostage. A fellow blogger sent it to him. He is having a ball with it.
