Sunday

I will be so glad to see summer end. It has been so hot and dry. I know those in Texas would like to have some of our dry.

I liked Guyk's Sunday school lesson. It was funny as usual. I don't know how he comes up with all that stuff.

I was a good girl today. I did my weights and treadmill today.

Tomorrow Guyk goes for blood test and Little Sister gets her stitches out.

The Sunday paper already has Christmas items for sale and it is not even Halloween yet.

It's amazing how soon they start on the holidays. I so hate all the crowds and aggravation of getting around, so I buy neat little things as I find them until about the end of October. From then on, I bake cookies wrap what I've bought and give everyone money. So much less stressful.

These marketing types just won't quit.

Why not have Christmas year round?

It sure would save me from having to take the decorations down.

I'm so ready for some cooler weather, but I might have to head north to get some. ;)

You're doing really great with your workouts; I have GOT to start back doing mine!!! Keep going!

I worked hard on my treadmill, too. But my knees got so bad I couldn't do it anymore, so I try to walk every day. I actually miss the treadmill, though I detested it when I was doing half an hour every night.

Wow. I wish I had your ability to stick to a workout schedule. I keep trying and then something always seems to get in the way.

We're ready for more rain now.

Rocky, I like those kinds of gifts with the green stuff in them too.

Well, Hammer, you could be like us and just not put any decorations up.

Guyk has arthritis in his shoulders to bad to mess with it. I'm to short and can't climb.

Thanks Pamibe, all encouragement is appreciated.

Hermit, I like walking outside better but I don't get the heart rate up outside like I do on the treadmill.

It is a bitch to get old, isn't it!

VWbug, I really feel the stiffness returning to my back if I don't use the treadmill. And I worry about my hips since I have osteopenia. Exercise builds new bone and strengthens muscles.

There is a method to my madness.

Yes, Dick, more rain now, Amen to that.
